What to do in Seattle After Taste Washington!

You planned for Taste Washington! Did you plan for after? Taste Washington! (Taste) is one of my favorite annual Washington wine events. It was my pleasure to attend Taste Washington as a Media representative. This year I was better prepared for Taste,I had a list of wineries and winemakers to visit. Equipped with a camera for bottle shots, satchel for cards and brochures, and for tasting notes, my trusty iPad was fully charged. List of Red Mountain Wineries. I've updated the Local Wineries page . Made time this morning to add Red Mountain AVA information and a list of Red Mountain Wineries to the  Local Wineries page . This list does not include Benton City wineries, yet. There are some recent additions to Red Mountain which may not be reflected by my list. I'll do more research to confirm. I will be adding a legend to the list of wineries: V= Visited Facility, R=Reviewed Wine. If you notice any errors or omissions, please post a comment. Anelare Winery - 2nd Annual Release

This is short notice, I just received this information last night. Just in time for for the Labor Day weekend - Anelare Winery is celebrating their, Second Annual Release Event! Savor the Art ~ Wine and Art Auction

Here's a date now on my calendar, Saturday, October 6, 2007 Savor the Art, Wine and Art Auction This event combines Art ("Art") and Wine ("Wine"). Two of my favorite subjects. Savor the Art 2007 will be at Terra Blanca Winery in Benton City. Guests will be greeted with a souvenir wine glass and a taste of wonderful wine. A "Broadway" style welcome will great guests for an elegant exhibition unique to Eastern Washington. Chef Frank Magana will provide gourmet appetizers focusing on the bounty of the area. In a unique silent auction and limited live auction, pairings of wine, wine country experiences and art will be featured as guests sip and sample. More entertainment precedes the live auction.
