Prosser Wine Network Bottles, Brews, BBQ 2018!

Saturday June 9th, 2018 at Prosser's Vintner's Village 10am to 6pm. Kick Off June 8 Bottles, Brews, Barbecues kicks off with the Festival Dinner on Friday, June 8, featuring eight Prosser-area winemakers and a private concert with The Pony Boys . Winery owners and winemakers from Coyote Canyon Winery, Columbia Crest Winery, Desert Wind Winery, Domanico Cellars, Gamache Vintners, Ginkgo Forest Winery, Martinez & Martinez, and 14 Hands will participate on Friday, June 8 under one tent on the grassy environs between Gamache Vintners and the Winemakers Loft in Prosser. Main Event June 9 The main event on Saturday, June 9 commences at 10 AM with the PNWBA barbecue competition and is followed by a full day of live music with Tri-Cities Fino, a latin-jazz fusion band, and Doc Jeebus’ Mojo Library. 2013 Brut Traditional Method Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Lake Chelan AVA 36 months on lees SRP: $42 Chris Sherry and Miguele de Quadros-Sherry of Elentone This morning, I wanted to share with you what a pleasure it was to meet winemaker Chris Sherry and Director Miguele de Quadros-Sherry of Elentone  wine. Chris is a tall, soft spoken gentleman, and a truly talented winemaker. Yesterday, he was guest winemaker at the Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center in Prosser, Washington and was pouring his 2013  Elentone sparkling wine for tasting room visitors. In the United Kingdom, sparkling wine is often referred to as “Fizz.” Chris is originally from sunny England, he studied winemaking in France and was involved in several sparkling winemaking projects in the UK. He is an official judge for the international sparkling wine competition, Effervescents du Monde , held annually in Dijon. He left the United Kingdom to craft sparkling wine in Washington State.
