Was it the 2006 Onyx? And when did you last try it? I admit to not always being a big fan of Terra Blanca red wines (their whites I have enjoyed).

I changed my opinion in 2010 when I enjoyed their Arch Terrace Merlot at #WBC10. Really very good - surprisingly so for me. I have not done a full tasting at their winery in some time. I'm overdue. Maybe you'll change your opinion next time too.

I wasn't as impressed but will try again. The price is a bit much though. I have had other terrablanca wines, none leave and lasting impressions, and this one is the only one recommended by a few friends, after trying it though I couldn't justify the price, please don't get me wrong, it is fine, just not in the league the price says it should be.
